Kouksundo Q&A

Is this Ki Shin Beop correct?

Question:  I find that Ki Shin Boeup in his presentation is little different. I can say that longer than form presented by instructor Nicolas Tacchi http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=luRyxg7lC0U . Could you check and say is correct or not?

Answer:

Philippe's Ki-Shin-Beop is almost correct.

Concerning to the Ki-Shin-Beop, please refer to following figures which represent five motions of Ki-Shin-Beop.

For example, Water (the first motion) is to strengthening our "Kidney & Bladder" Kidney and Bladder are connected with acupuncture lines as depicted in the slide. Thus, by taking the motion, acupuncture lines of Kidney and Bladder are stimulated and vitalized naturally. The other motions are also follow the principles.

Kouksundo Martial Art (called Oe-Kong) is complementary with Inner Practice (Nae-Gong).

You may know the three main objectives of Kouksundo.
"Ultimate Body, Ultimate Mind (Spirit), and Ultimate Ethics"

In order to achieve those three objectives, Kouksundo practice focuses not only 'mental' but also 'physical' training.
Practicing Nae-Gong with 'Breathing" with gentle movement is the basic.
However, Oe-Gong is also required to 'protect ourselves, and realize Kouksundo in the practical world'

Ki-Shin-Beop, then, is counted for the basic Oe-Gong (It contains both Nae-Gong but also Oe-Gong since it is dynamic as well as static).

P.S.) Someday, I would upload a standard Ki-Shin-Beop video.
